Connecting external
dust extraction
Dust extraction is only possible if the switch
for the dust blower function (9) is set to po-
sition “0” and a suitable vacuum cleaner
is connected to the connection for dust
extraction (6).
A suitable vacuum cleaner must
be used (e.g. a workshop vacuum
cleaner). Normal household vac-
uum cleaners are not intended for
vacuuming sanding material. This
information can be found in the op-
erating instructions of the external
device.
Connecting external dust
extraction:
1. Slide the adapter for external dust
extraction (6) as far as it will go into
the guide rail between the device and
baseplate (8).
2. Connect an approved dust extractor
(not included in delivery) to the adapter
for external dust extraction.

Removing the external dust
extraction:
1. Disconnect the suction hose from the
adapter for external dust extraction
(6)/from the reducer (24).
2. Disconnect the adapter for external
dust extraction (6) and, if necessary,
the reducer (24).
If necessary, you can connect the
suction tube of a vacuum cleaner
directly to the device without an
adapter.
Switching the dust
blower function on/off
1. To switch on the dust blower function,
move the switch for the dust blower
function (11) to position

2. To switch it off, move the switch for the
dust blower function (11) to position
“0”.
Switching the laser and
work light on/off
Press the on/off switch (19) to switch on
the laser and work light.
1x press → laser + work light
2x press → laser
3x press → work light
4x press → off
If you do not terminate the function by
pressing the on/off switch of the laser +
LED work light (19) before disconnecting
the device from the power supply, the last
selected light setting will automatically
switch on the next time the device is used.
Plunge cuts
Plunge cuts may only be made in soft ma-
terials such as wood, aerated concrete,
plasterboard, etc. However, this requires a
certain amount of practice and is possible
only with short saw blades.
