What to do if Paslode Nail Gun fasteners do not drive fully?
    • C
      Christina WilsonAug 18, 2025
If the Paslode Nail Gun operates properly but the fasteners aren't fully driven, there could be a few reasons: * The work-contacting element may require adjustment; try adjusting it. * The fuel cell might be low; check it and replace if needed. * There could be a loss of seal in the combustion chamber. To check, press the work-contacting element against the workpiece for one minute, then pull the trigger. If the fastener still doesn't drive, there's likely a leak that requires professional service.

      dwalshAug 28, 2025
If the Paslode Nail Gun battery doesn't seem to accept a charge when plugged into the wall mount adapter: * There may be inoperative indicator lights on the charger, or a defective charger. Try the battery in the tool after a full charge cycle. If the tool LED is green, the charger isn't working properly. Replace the charger, or monitor charging time to ensure the battery has adequate time for recharging. It's normal for the battery to feel warm after properly charging. * The battery might be damaged or its cycle life exhausted. Replace the battery.

If you can't free it, return the tool to an authorized Paslode dealer for service. * The work-contacting element could be bent, or debris buildup in the track might restrict operation. Remove and inspect the lower probe, clean and lubricate the track with Cordless Lubricating oil, and repair or replace the lower probe as needed. Also, ensure the follower is positioned behind the fasteners.
