How to fix Paslode Nail Gun when driver blade did not return to up position?

  If your Paslode Nail Gun operated and drove fasteners, but the driver blade didn't return to the up position, it could be due to built-up dirt and debris on the driver blade or in the nose bore. Clean the driver blade and nose bore with degreaser cleaner. Alternatively, the mid-check may be dirty or disabled, in which case you should return the tool to an authorized Paslode Cordless dealer for service.

What to do if my Paslode Nail Gun won't cycle but the fan runs and the light is green?

  If your Paslode Nail Gun's fan is running and the indicator light is green, but the tool won't cycle, it could be due to a few reasons. The Paslode Framing Fuel Cell may be empty or past its “Best Use Before” date. Replace the fuel cell. Also, the spark plug might be dirty, so clean the tool cylinder head and spark plug. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the tool may not be generating a spark and needs to be serviced by an authorized Paslode dealer.

  If your Paslode Nail Gun operates but doesn't drive any fasteners, ensure you're using fasteners meeting Paslode specifications. Check the Fasteners and Applications section for recommended types and sizes. Also, the tool may require cleaning, so clean it per the instructions. Check that the follower is properly engaged behind the fastener strip. Finally, there may be a jammed fastener, so clear the jam.

  If your Paslode Nail Gun charger gets hot, makes excessive noise, or smokes during charging, or if the charger cord or wall plug gets hot, stop using it immediately and unplug it from the power source. Replace the charger and tag or dispose of the old charger to prevent accidental reuse.

  If the fan on your Paslode Nail Gun doesn't run and the tool indicator light is blinking or solid red, the battery may not be charged, so charge the battery. Also, the battery terminals might be oily, dirty, or corroded, so clean them with a cloth or pencil eraser.
