What to do if my Paslode Nail Gun won't cycle but the fan runs and the light is green?
    • A
      Anthony WolfSep 8, 2025
If your Paslode Nail Gun's fan runs and the indicator light is solid green but the tool won't cycle, the fuel cell may be empty, so replace it. Also, the spark wire might be out of the spark plug; remove the cap, check the spark lead, insert it into the spark plug, and replace the cover. The spark plug could also be dirty, so clean the tool cylinder head and spark plug. If no spark is generated, return the tool to an authorized Paslode dealer for service.

Why Paslode Cordless Framing Nailer driver blade did not return to up position?
    • D
      David ParkerSep 7, 2025
If the Paslode Nail Gun operated and drove fasteners, but the driver blade did not return to the up position: * There could be built-up dirt and debris on the driver blade or in the nose bore. Clean the driver blade and nose bore with degreaser cleaner. * The mid check might be dirty or disabled. Return the tool to an authorized Paslode® Cordless dealer for service.

Why won't my Paslode Nail Gun drive nails all the way?
    • S
      Stacey WilliamsAug 22, 2025
There are several reasons why your Paslode Nail Gun might not be driving fasteners fully. The work-contacting element may require adjustment, so try adjusting it. The fuel cell could be low, so check it and replace it if needed. There might also be a loss of seal in the combustion chamber. To check for a leak, press the work-contacting element against the workpiece for one minute and pull the trigger; if the fastener doesn't drive, a leak requiring service is present.

      Christine MillerSep 3, 2025
If your Paslode Nail Gun operates erratically or seems to lose power while the indicator light is green, check the following: * The fuel cell might be low, so check it. * The spark plug wire could be loose, so inspect it. * The filter element might be dirty, causing the tool to overheat. Remove the filter element and clean it, using soap and water for stubborn debris.

    • R
      Ryan BakerSep 1, 2025
If the tool operated and drove fasteners, but the driver blade didn't return to the up position, there could be built-up dirt and debris on the driver blade or in the nose bore, so clean the driver blade and nose bore with degreaser cleaner. What to do if the work-contacting element on my Paslode Nail Gun won't depress fully?
    • A
      Amber RiveraAug 30, 2025
If the work-contacting element does not depress fully and the tool doesn't operate, the lockout bracket might be stuck in the lockout position, so check the lockout. If you can't free it, return the tool to an authorized Paslode dealer for service. The work-contacting element could also be bent, or debris buildup in the track might restrict operation; remove and inspect the lower probe, then clean and lubricate the track with Paslode Impulse® oil. Repair or replace the lower probe as needed. Also, ensure the follower is positioned behind the fasteners.

Why does my Paslode Nail Gun operate but not drive fasteners?
    • R
      rcruzAug 29, 2025
If your Paslode Nail Gun operates but doesn't drive fasteners, you might be using the wrong fasteners, so use only fasteners meeting Paslode specifications. The follower might not be properly engaged behind the fastener strip, so position it behind the strip and engage it. There could also be a jammed fastener, so clear the jam.
