Why does my PCS Electronics CyberMax Amplifier LCD display show TEMP/SWR error?
    • S
      Sean HarrisAug 11, 2025
If the LCD display of your PCS Electronics Amplifier shows a TEMP/SWR error, it means the unit might be overheating or your antenna could be faulty. Allow the unit to cool down, ensure better cooling in the future, and consider slightly increasing the TEMP ALARM setting. Also, your antenna may not be working correctly, so inspect the cable and SWR. You might need to adjust the SWR ALARM higher, but first, ensure your antenna and cable are functioning correctly.

What to do if RF output power is too low in PCS Electronics CyberMax Amplifier?
    • K
      Katherine AllenAug 20, 2025
If your PCS Electronics Amplifier's RF output power is too low, first check the set power (in %). An alarm might have been triggered, reducing power; try turning the unit off and back on, or wait a few minutes for the power to recover. Identify the triggered alarm, as it could be due to overheating or antenna issues (SWR). Let the unit cool off and ensure proper cooling. You might have set the TEMP ALARM too low, so increase it slightly. Also, the exciter or driver could be too weak, or the power limit might be set too low (as shown at power-up).

How to fix no RF power on PCS Electronics Amplifier?
    • D
      David AndersenAug 30, 2025
If your PCS Electronics Amplifier appears normal but has no RF power, wait a few more seconds, as the amplifier needs about 20 seconds to reach full power. Alternatively, one of the alarms may have been triggered, reducing power. Try turning the unit off and back on; when an alarm is triggered, power may be reduced until you do so.
