Complex impedance can be illustrated on an Argand Diagram, showing the
imaginary (reactive) part on the vertical axis and the real (resistive) part on
the horizontal axis. This is an ideal way of visualising the magnitude and
phase of the impedance.
It is not necessary to fully understand Complex Impedance to make good
use of the LCR45. All of the detailed calculations are carried out
automatically for you, and you are presented with as much or as little of the
results as you need.
