High Gain Input (1)
This is the normal input for most guitars. It is 6 dB hotter than the Low Gain Input (2).
Low Gain Input (2)
This is provided for instruments that have extremely high output levels.
Gain (3)
This controls the input volume of the amplifier and adjusts the amount of preamp distortion.
Treble (4)
Passive tone control used to adjust desired level of high frequencies.
Mid
(5)
Passive tone control used to adjust desired level of middle frequencies.
Bass
(6)
Passive tone control used to adjust desired level of low frequencies.
Master Volume (7)
This controls the overall volume level of the amplifier.
Presence (8)
Active tone control that adjusts the high frequency damping in the power amp stage.
Pentatone™ (9)
This switch allows the user to select from five distinct gain structure/EQ voicing combinations. There is
a second Pentatone switch on the rear panel (13) to allow for footswitchable selection between any two
of the settings.
