channel
patching

control

channel
equalization.
This
stereo
jack
is
wired
so
that
if
a
phone
plug
is
inserted
to
the
first
detent
only,
the
send
from
the
channel
will
be
accessed
without
interrupting
the
normal
channel
signal
flow.
If
a
stereo
phone
plug
is
inserted
fully
into
the
jack,
the
channel
“send”
connects
to
the
tip
and
the
ring
portion
becomes
the
channel
“return”.
In
this
mode,
normal
channel
signal
flow
is
interrupted
and
equipment
connected
via
the
stereo
phone
plug
is
inserted
in-line.
