3. SAFETY
3.1 Symbols
Attention, warning and danger symbols used in this manual have the following significance.
Attention!
Information for correct or effective use of the equipment.
Warning
Incorrect or careless use can cause serious damage to the
equipment.
Failure to observe this information can result in major
personal injury or loss of life.
3.2 Safety instructions
Check glass bottles beforehand for any cracks or breaks. Use undamaged bottles only.
Before the bottle is pierced, it must be protected using the protective sleeve provided.
Always wear protective gloves and goggles. Lye may cause serious damage if it comes
into contact with your skin or eyes. Remove lye immediately using a large quantity of
flowing water. Contact a doctor immediately.
