  If your Pentair Water Pump isn't pumping water, start by checking the power supply and ensuring the plug is properly connected. Also, the motor protection might have tripped. Identify the cause, reset the switch, and allow the system to cool if it overheated. Other potential issues include a defective condenser (which would need replacing) or a blocked shaft. If the shaft is blocked, determine the cause and unblock the pump.

  If the motor of your Pentair Water Pump is running but not pumping liquid, it might be taking on air. Ensure all joints are airtight, check that the liquid level hasn't dropped below the foot valve, and verify the foot valve is airtight and not blocked. Another possibility is incorrect rotation direction. In this case, reset the rotation direction.

  If your Pentair Water Pump stops shortly after starting because a thermal motor protection device trips, the power supply might not match the data on the pump's plate. Check the voltage on the power supply conductor cables. Alternatively, a solid object could be blocking the impeller; dismantle the pump and clean it. Lastly, the liquid might be too thick and you should consider changing the electropump type.
