Day of regeneration
Note:
The display shows “dX Y” where X is the day of the week (1-7) and Y shows whether the selected day is enabled for
regeneration “1” or not, “0”.

To access the recorded information, press and hold for 5 seconds.
5 . Operation
5.1. Recommendations
• Use only regenerate salts designed for water softening EN973;
• for optimal system operation, the use of clean salt free from impurities is recommended (for example salt pellets);
• do not use ice melt, block, or rock salts;
• the sanitizing process (both with liquid and electrochlorination) introduces chlorine elements which may reduce the lifetime
of the ion exchange resins. Refer to the technical guides for resins in common use, providing necessary checks on the
system.
5.2. Manual regeneration
Immediate regeneration
A Press and hold for 5 seconds.
→ Regeneration icon displayed.
→ Camshaft starts rotating to cycle C1.
6 . Error messages
The following error messages may be displayed during operation:
Salt alarm, the brine tank is empty. Press any key to acknowledge this alarm and reset the salt alarm counter
to the programmed value. No regenerations are carried out during the salt alarm.
→ Refill the brine tank with salt.
Microswitch alarm. The module cannot find the service position. No regenerations are carried out during the
microswitch alarm.
→ Call your local dealer. See 8 . Troubleshooting, page 7.
7 . Maintenance
Mandatory:
Cleaning and maintenance shall take place at regular intervals in order to guarantee the proper functioning of the
complete system, and be documented in the Maintenance record book.
Mandatory:
The maintenance and service operation must be done by qualified personnel only. Failure in respecting this may void
the warranty.
8 . Troubleshooting
Please follow this procedure for any technical support:
A Collect the required information for a technical assistance request.
→ Product identification (see 2.1. Serial label location, page 5 and Original settings, page 2);
→ Error number displayed on the controller;
B Contact your local dealer who installed this device (see contact details on last page).
→ Also call him if the water tastes salty, if the water is not softened or if there is no salt consumption.
H Select the day with and enable or disable the regeneration with .
→ The days with enabled regeneration flash.
I Press to validate the selection and advance to the next parameter.
J Adjust the time of regeneration with and .
→ Time flashes.
K Press to validate the selection.
"End" appears on the screen, programming is now complete.
