If your Pentair Water Pump motor isn't running, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the disconnect switch is turned on. Next, check the fuse and replace it if it's blown. A defective starting switch could also be the culprit, so consider replacing it. Lastly, inspect the wiring at the motor for looseness, disconnections, or incorrect wiring. Refer to the wiring instructions and tighten all connections. Be cautious of capacitor voltage and discharge the capacitor with an insulated screwdriver if necessary. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
