How to fix a Pentair Water Pump motor that will not run?

If your Pentair Water Pump motor won't run, first ensure the switch is on. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. If that doesn't work, disconnect the power and replace the starting switch, referring to the wiring instructions. Also, disconnect the power, then check and tighten all wiring connections. Be cautious of capacitor voltage and discharge the capacitor with an insulated screwdriver if necessary. If unsure, consult an electrician. Lastly, disconnect the power and file the contacts with an emery board or nail file.
