  If your Pentair Water Pump isn't delivering water to its full capacity, it could be due to several reasons. If the water level in the well is lower than expected, especially if it's more than 25 feet to the water, you might need a deep well jet. Corroded or limed steel piping can also cause excess friction, so replace it with plastic pipe if possible, or with new steel pipe. Insufficient pipe size can restrict water flow, so re-pipe using the size of the suction and discharge ports on the pump. Finally, the pump might not be getting enough water, in which case you should add additional well points.
