Taking Pictures

(Blur Reduction mode), the camera automatically raises the sensitivity to
reduce camera shake and blurring when taking pictures. The camera also sets the
shutter speed (set to remain faster than 1/15 sec) and aperture automatically.
However, you can select other functions such as the flash mode and recorded pixels.
1 Press the four-way controller (3) in A mode.
The Capture Mode Palette appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select c
(Blur reduction).
3 Press the 4 button.
The shooting mode is selected and the camera returns to capture status.
4 Set the functions you want to use.
Refer to “Setting the Shooting Functions”
(p.79 - p.95) for details of how to set the
functions.
5 Press the shutter release button
halfway.
The focus frame on the LCD monitor turns
green if the subject is in focus.
6 Press the shutter release button fully.
The picture is taken.
Reducing Camera Shake and Blurring when
Taking Pictures (Blur Reduction Mode)
When shooting mode is set to c , the sensitivity is automatically
adjusted to between 64 and 1600. (p.91)
