Setting the Auxiliary AF Light
The auxiliary AF light of this camera conforms to the safety standard
(IEC60825-1) for Class 1 LED product. Looking at the light directly
will not create safety hazard. However, do not look into the emitter
from a very short distance since you may feel dazzled.
The camera does not emit the auxiliary AF light under the following
condition: the Capture mode is set to C (Movie) or q (Landscape),
or the focus mode is set to pan focus, infinity mode, or manual focus.
In the q (Landscape) mode, however, you can let the camera emit
the auxiliary AF light by setting [Aux. AF Light] to On.
