Cold cleaning and disinfection of the controller & display device surface should be performed weekly, or as needed.
Basic cleaning after each treatment. Cold disinfection to be performed weekly after regular basic cleaning.
Cold cleaning and disinfection of the tubing harness to be performed weekly.
Steps for disassembling the Phasitron unit, including separating the nebulizer and removing the bowl from the cap.
Rinse parts, wash with fragrance-free soap, and use a soft brush for stubborn soil. Do not wash antibacterial filter.
Shake parts to remove water, dry with lint-free cloth, and air dry. Wipe tubing harness with soapy water and rinse.
Mix 1 part household bleach (5.25%) with 8 parts water. Review safety precautions.
Immerse parts in bleach solution for 10 mins to 1 hour. Rinse with sterile/filtered water, then dry and store.
Coat O-rings and specific components with approved lubricant before re-assembly and lubrication.
Twist nebulizer bowl into cap until it locks. Ensure inner stem on diaphragm is pressed firmly into the venturi.
Inspect O-ring on sliding Venturi for damage. Insert Venturi and spring into Phasitron body.
Screw white cap onto Phasitron body clockwise. Attach mouthpiece, mask, or corrugated tubing.
Use air from the controller device to dry tubing interiors. Ensure check valve arrow points away from the controller.
Connect yellow tubing to nebulizer bowl. Ensure check valve direction. Connect red tubing to bacterial filter.
Connect red tubing to Phasitron front, green tubing to nebulizer top, and white tubing to Phasitron rear.
Connect red, white, green, and yellow tubing to their corresponding ports on the Percussionaire controller device.
Use an approved wipe or spray agent onto a damp cloth to wipe the device surface. Do not submerge.
