What to do if my Percussionaire IPV-2C has no percussions?
    • P
      Patricia HaleAug 4, 2025
If your Percussionaire Medical Equipment isn't producing percussions, first ensure that the inlet gas source is connected and the MASTER switch is in the ON position. Also, check the REMOTE connector for any blockages and inspect the Operational Pressure regulator. If these steps don't resolve the issue, it may require connecting to a gas source or replacing/repairing the MASTER switch. Service may be required.

Why is there no pressure indication on the Operational Pressure gauge of my Percussionaire Medical Equipment?
    • S
      sophiathomasAug 11, 2025
If there is no pressure indication on the Operational Pressure gauge of your Percussionaire Medical Equipment, verify the inlet gas source and rotate the Operational Pressure knob clockwise until 40 psi is indicated. Ensure the MASTER switch is ON. If the problem persists, connect to a gas source and service may be required. Consider replacing or repairing the MASTER switch.

How to fix a Percussionaire IPV-2C nebulizer that is not aerosolizing?
    • C
      cwalkerAug 16, 2025
If the nebulizer on your Percussionaire Medical Equipment is not aerosolizing, disconnect the yellow tubing from the IPV®-2C to verify constant flow. Check both yellow tubing connections and inspect the nebulizer bowl for flow out of the nebulizer baffle (Phasitron® 5 diagram). If there's no flow from the aerosol connector, service may be required. Reconnect the yellow connections and clean or replace the Phasitron® 5.

    Thomas TorresAug 22, 2025
What to do if there is no display on the PDM of my Percussionaire IPV-2C?
    • L
      Lisa KellyAug 22, 2025
If there is no display on the PDM of your Percussionaire Medical Equipment, check the battery orientation and strength. Also, check both tubing connections and ensure the Phasitron® 5 patient port is not occluded and is connected to the patient, if necessary. Replace the batteries if needed and reconnect any red connections. If not connected to a patient, occlude the patient end of Phasitron® 5.

    barbaracoleAug 29, 2025
Why is the percussion rate slow on my Percussionaire IPV-2C?
    • L
      Lauren SmithAug 29, 2025
If your Percussionaire Medical Equipment has a slow percussion rate, check the REMOTE connector for any external blockages. Ensure the percussion knob can change the rate. Rotate the percussion knob counterclockwise. Service may be required.
