The eects of TRUE-IPV® therapy occur with or without the cooperation of the patient.
TRUE-IPV® provides a percussive sub tidal gas exchange within the respiratory
bronchioles with associated alveolar recruitment maintaining a minimal mean
intrathoracic expiratory pressure increase for peripheral lung stabilization. This allows for
mechanical ventilation to provide for peripheral lung recruitment while minimizing the
potential for induced barotrauma.
