8. Rotate filter bowl (6) counterclockwise and remove
the filter bowl from assembly.

9. Rotate the filter element (5) counterclockwise and
remove the filter element . Clean the filter bowl.
Install the New Filter Element

1. Locate the thread in the new filter element (8) onto
the threads (9). Spin on the filter element and
tighten the drain valve (2) securely.
2. Lubricate the O ring seal (7) with clean engine oil.
Do NOT fill the bowl with fuel before the assembly
is installed.
3. Do not use a tool in order to install the filter
assembly. Tighten the filter bowl (6) by hand.
Install the filter bowl (6). Turn the filter bowl
clockwise until the filter bowl locks into position
against the stops.
4. Remove the container and dispose of the fuel in a
safe place.
