Charging
Connect the charger plug into the battery charging socket on the control
panel. The molded guide on the socket will help you to locate the plug.

Only use the battery charger that has been supplied with your wheelchair or recommended by
Permobil. The use of incorrect chargers could damage the batteries, wheelchair, control system
or charger itselt, or may result in parts overheating creating the potential for burns or even fire.
To avoid sparking and unnecessary wear and tear of the wheelchair’s charging socket, be sure
that the main voltage and the charger is in OFF position when connecting/disconnecting the charg-
ing cable to the wheelchair’s charging socket.
Ensure that the charger plug is pushed fully in position.
You will not be able to drive the wheelchair when the charger is connected. If the wheelchair does
drive with the charger plugged in, contact an authorized Permobil service provider as soon as
possible.
