Connectthebatteries:
1.Attachoneendofajumpercable
tothepositive(+)terminalofthe
discharged(dead)battery.This
willhavealargered+orPonthe
batterycase,post,orclamp.
2.Attachtheotherendofthesame
cabletothepositive(+)terminal
ofthegood(booster)battery.
3.Attachtheremainingjumpercable
FIRSTtothenegative(-)terminal
(blackorN)ofthegoodbattery.
4.Attachtheotherendofthe
negativecabletoabaremetalpart
notboltedtotheengineblock.
NOTE
Alwaysconnectpositive(+)to
positive(+)andnegative(-)to
negative(-).
5.Ifeithervehicleisequippedwith
batterydisconnects,ensurethat
theyareinthe"ON"position.
6.Startthevehiclethathasthe
goodbatteryrst.Letitrunfor5
minutes.
7.Startthevehiclethathasthe
discharged(dead)battery.
Iftheenginefailstostart,donot
continuetocrankthestarterbut
contactthenearestauthorizeddealer.
