1.Speedometer
TheSpeedometerindicatesthevehicle
speedinmilesperhour(mph)and
inkilometersperhour(km/h).The
Speedometerclusteralsoincludes
severalwarningandindicatorlamps
(seeWarningSymbolsonpage3-15).
2.Tachometer
TheTachometermeasurestheengine
speedinrevolutionsperminute(RPM).
TheRPMDetailisalsoavailableasa
viewablescreenintheinstrumentation
cluster.ViewingtheRPMdetailis
accomplishedbyusingtheMCSdialto
rotatetothe[VIRTUALGAUGES].
Thetachometerisausefulgauge
whenattemptingtodriveefciently.
Itwillletyoumatchdrivingspeed
andgearselectiontotheoperating
rangeofyourengine.Iftheengine
speedgetstoohigh,youcanselecta
highergeartolowertheRPM's.Ifthe
enginespeeddropstoolow,youcan
selectalowergeartoraisetheRPM's.
