GETTING READY TO SEW – 23
Pull the thread down along the slit and pass it to the left
through the thread path (E).
Pass the thread from right to left around the take-up lever
(F).
Pull out approximately 4˝ (10 cm) of thread from the nee-
dle and slide it under the foot so that it runs in between
the foot and the upper cutter.
Close the front cover and lower the presser foot lifter.
Pass the thread through the left slit of the needle thread
guide (G).
Pass the thread through the needle bar thread guide from
left to right (H).
Thread the left needle from front to back (I).
