EMISSION SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
The Catalyst Converter(optiona1, fixed inside the muffler) can not be dismounted for separate maintenance.
To
keep the
catalyst performing well, correct operation method and periodical maintenance should be done, especially periodical clean
-
ing checking and adjusting of the Combustion System, Air Cleaning System
&
Ignition system.
a).Air Cleaner Cleaning (page
35)
b).lgnition :tube should be replaced if fractured or clogged
c).Fuel System:tubes and pipes should be replaced if fractured or clogged.
d).Muffler: gasket should be replaced or tightened
if
muffler is leaking
e).ldle Running Check:adjust threttle cable for appropriate engine idle running.
f).ldle Running Emission Check: please go to authorized dealer for checking and carburetor tuning.
Note: the above mentioned adjustments should be done after engine warm
-
up. (temperature of ignition plug base should
be above 110
OC,
or adjustments after 10 minutes of warm

up)
