Why is the cooling poor in my Phcbi MDF-U33V-PE Freezer?
    • N
      Norman FullerAug 9, 2025
Poor cooling in your Phcbi Freezer can occur due to several reasons. Ensure the latch of the inner door is completely closed and the outer door is firmly shut, checking for any frost or ice preventing a proper seal. Make sure the air intake vent isn't blocked and the condenser filter is clean. Also, verify that the set temperature is correctly inputted, the freezer is away from direct sunlight and heating sources, and the rubber cap and insulation for the access port are correctly set. Avoid putting too many unfrozen items into the freezer at once, or storing a large amount of articles (load) in the chamber at one time. High ambient temperature can also affect cooling.

If the chamber of your Phcbi Freezer isn't cooling, check a few things. First, make sure the power switch is turned ON. Then, verify that the circuit breaker of the power source is active. If the voltage is too low, indicated by status code “--2”, contact an electrician.

Why is my Phcbi Freezer making noise?

      Autumn SmithAug 25, 2025
Noises from your Phcbi Freezer can stem from a few sources. Ensure the freezer is installed on a sturdy floor and leveled using the leveling feet. Check that nothing is touching the frame. If the freezer has just been started, the noise may be due to the chamber temperature being high, which should decrease as the chamber cools.

What to do if the back-up test switch does not operate normally on my Phcbi MDF-U33V-PE Freezer?
    • A
      arthurmcguireAug 31, 2025
If the back-up test switch on your Phcbi Freezer isn't working, and you have the backup cooling kit installed, check if the liquid carbon dioxide tank is empty or if the valve of the carbon dioxide tank is not opened. Also, if the ambient temperature is too high, move the tank to a cooler location. Inquire at liquid carbon dioxide suppliers about its check, adjustment, installation, or move.
