Voice dial allows you to quickly call a
name from your phonebook: set a voice
tag by recording a word that will call the
corresponding name when pronounced.
1.
Select
Settings
>
Voic e di al

and press

Browse the list to select the call number to be set
with a voice tag. Depending on the selected
phonebook (see “Contacts” page 22):
- SIM phonebook: select a name in the list and
press

- Phone’s phonebook: select a name in the list,
then the phone number of your choice if
several numbers were stored for this name and
press
,
.

When
Add voice tag?
appears, press
,
and
follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
When prompted to record your voice tag, make
sure you are in a quiet environment, choose a
short and simple word and clearly pronounce it.
To use the voice command, press and hold
,
when
in idle mode, then say the voice tag corresponding to
the number you want to dial.
To display the list of voice dials you have defined,
select
Settings
>
Voice Commands
or
Voi ce dial
and press
,
. Words recorded as voice tags can be played,
changed or deleted at any time.
Up to 15 voice tags can be defined and shared between
voice dial and voice command.
Keypad lock
Allows you to lock/unlock your keypad
by pressing and holding the
c
key
when in idle mode. The keypad
automatically unlocks when receiving a call.
You can also choose immediate or delayed lock by
selecting
Settings
>
Security
>
Keypad lock
, then one of
the values by pressing
+
or
-
. Your keypad will then
be permanently locked. If you unlock it by pressing the
c
key, it will be temporarily unlocked while you
use your phone, and locked again after the time period
you selected.
Note that even when your keypad is locked, you can
still place an SOS call (see page 27).
