Programme favourite tracks
(Audio CDs only)
You can programme up to 32 tracks for playback in any
desired order. This function only operates with audio
CDs (not DVDs/VCDs).
1 Load the desired discs on the disc trays (refer to “Basic
playback”).
2 Press PROGRAM.
➜ “PROG” icon lights up.
3 Press DISC SKIP (or DVD/CD) repeatedly to select the
desired disc (if necessary).
➜ The disc number appears.
4 Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to input the track
number.
➜ If you attempt to programme more than 32 tracks,
"P-FULL" is displayed.
5 Press OK on the remote control to store the track.
● Repeat steps 3-5 to store other tracks.
6 To end programming, press Ç once.
➜ “PROG” icon stays and the programme mode remains
active.
7 To start programme play, press £ (ÉÅ ).
Modifying the programme
1 Stop playback, then press Ç again.
2 Press 3 or 4 repeatedly to select the desired
programmed track.
To clear the track
3 Press and hold Ç.
To change the track under another track number
3 Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to enter the desired
track number, then press OK.
To change the track
3 Press DISC SKIP (or DVD/CD) repeatedly to select the
desired disc, then use the numeric keypad (0-9) to input
a new track number and press OK.
To add a track
3 Press 3 repeatedly until you reach the empty programmed
track, then use the numeric keypad (0-9) to enter the
number of the desired track and press OK.
Notes:
– You cannot modify the programming in Resume mode.
– The programmed contents are lost if you turn off the DVD
system or change the function to TUNER.
Exit the programme mode temporarily
● In stop mode, press Ç and followed by PROGRAM.
➜ “P-OFF” appears.
● To return to the programming mode, press PROGRAM
again.
Reviewing the programme
● Stop playback , then press 3 or 4 repeatedly.
● To exit review mode, press Ç.
Clearing the entire programme
● Stop playback, then press Ç twice.
➜ “P-CLEAR” appears.
Special VCD features
Playback Control (PBC)
PBC playback allows you to play Video CDs interactively,
following the menu on the display.
● Press TITLE on the remote control to switch on/off the
PBC mode.
When playing a disc with PBC function
● If “PBC OFF”, the system will start playback automatically.
● If “PBC ON”, the PBC menu (if available) will appear on the
TV screen for selection. Use the numeric keypad (0-9)
to enter your choice.
Note:
– If PBC mode is switched on, REPEAT functions are not
available.
