STANDBY-ON m Switch on or off: To switch the DVD Recorder off or on, interrupt a
function, or interrupt a programmed recording (TIMER)
OPEN/CLOSE J Open/close disc tray
TRAY LED Recording in progress: Red light around the disc tray indicates a
recording in progress.
GUIDE GUIDE Plus+
®
system: To call up/cancel the GUIDE Plus+
®
system.
When the GUIDE Plus+
®
system is active, a white light around the
button is on.
UP , DOWN Select: Higher/lower channel
Cursor up/down in the Guide Plus+
®
system
LEFT , RIGHT Select: In the Guide Plus+
®
system: Cursor left/right
RECORD Record: Record the current TV channel

system: green function button.
G Playback: To play a recorded disc.

Switching between jack S-VIDEO and VIDEO is done automatically. In case both jacks are
occupied, the signal at jack S-VIDEO is given priority.
