Unfinalising CDRW disc
If you want to record (or erase) on
(from) a finalised CDRW, you have to
unfinalise it first.
Notes:
Unfinalising will take about two minutes.
After unfinalising of the CDRW,
CD changes to
CDRW on the display.
1 Load in an finalised CDRW in the CD recorder
tray.
2 Press FINALIZE CD.
UNFINALIZE? is displayed.
3 Press YES to start unfinalising.
UNFINAL is displayed and the remaining
operation time starts to count down.
Erasing CDRW disc
It is possible to erase one or more tracks
(starting from the end of the last track)
or the entire CDRW(unfinalised).
1 Load in an unfinalised CDRW in the CD
recorder tray.
2 Press ERASE CD.
3 Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select :
ERASE DISC? : to erase an entire
CDRW.
ERASE TR XX? : to erase one or more
tracks. XX denotes the track number.
4 Press YES to confirm.
ERASE? is displayed.
5 Press YES to start erasing.
ERASE is displayed and the operation time
left starts to count down.
Repeat step 3-5 to erase other tracks.
6 If no further erasure is required, press Çon the
system.
Note:
When erasing several tracks, the tracks to be
erased must be selected in sequence, starting from
the last recorded track. For example, if the CDRW
has 5 tracks recorded on it, you should erase
tracks 5 and 4. You can also erase tracks 5,4 and
3, but you cannot erase tracks 5 and 3!
CD text editing
For unfinalised CDR(W) discs only
Storing text
You can enter a name for the Album Title/Artist
and Track Title/Artist. These texts will show on
the player, which is equipped with the CD text
feature. You can enter up to 60 characters
per text field.
1 Stop playback and press CDR.
2 Press EDIT TEXT (or CD TEXT/EDIT on
the remote control).
EDIT TEXT is flashing.
3 Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select one of the
following for edit :
ALBUM TITLE – CD title.
ALBUM ARTIST – CD artist.
TITLE TR 1 (or 2, 3,…)” – title of track 1
(or 2,3,…).
ARTIST TR1 (or 2, 3,…)” – artist of track
1 (or 2,3,…).
4 Press YES to confirm.
5 Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select a character.
The cursor will automatically move to the
next character space after the selected character
stays on for one second.
6 Repeat step 5 for adding further characters.
7 Press YES to save and store the texts and exit
to the last position in the text editing menu.
UPDATE is displayed.
To exit text editing mode
Press Ç.
