Cause Possible remedy
Issue: Indicator light on CROS device is solid red while CROS device is
in the charger
Dirty charging contacts
Clean the contacts of the CROS device and
the charger
CROS device is out of its
operating temperature
range
Warm CROS device up or cool it down.
Operating temperature range is +5° to
+40° Celsius (+41° to +104° Fahrenheit)
Faulty battery Contact your hearing care professional
Issue: Indicator light on CROS device switches o when CROS device
is removed from charger
“Auto On” feature is
disabled
Switch on the CROS device (chapter 9)
Issue: Indicator light on CROS device remains solid green after
removal from charger
Indicator light on CROS
device was red when
CROS device was placed
into the charger
Reboot the CROS device (chapter 15)
