No sound (the audio signal is not output
from the AUDIO OUT jack)

Is the cable that connects between the AUDIO
OUT jack and the equipment broken or short-
circuited to ground?
Change the connecting cable.

Is the connected equipment terminated with
22 kohms or more?
Connect equipment whose input impedance is 22
kohms or more. (No sound when the connected
equipment is terminated with 75 ohms)

Is 12-Vdc power input to Pin 14 of IC5308?
Failure in IC5308 or IC5306

Is an audio waveform output from the audio input
terminal of IC5308 (Pin 1 for INPUT 1, Pin 3 for
INPUT 2, or Pin 5 for video slot input)?
Failure in the equipment connected via the input
connector, or poor connection of the audio input
connector

Is an audio waveform output from Pin 15 of
IC5308?
The connector (INPUT 1-5) to which
the audio signal is input is not
selected, or failure in IC5308.
