An
optional starting
installation
known
as
Piler
External Power
(PEP)
is accessible
through
a
receptacle
located
on the right
side
of
the
fuselage
aft of the baggage
door. An
external
battery
can be
connected
to the socket,
thus allowing
the operator to
crank the engine without
having
to
gain
access to
the airplane's
battery. Instructions
on a
placard
located
on the cover
of
the
receptacle
should be followed
before
using the external
power.
