Clear the fire pot of any moist wood pellets, following the Hopper Priming Procedure. Check the fan to ensure it's working properly and that the air intake is not blocked; clean the fan if it's dirty.

Remove the cooking components and turn on the unit to inspect the ignitor. Visually confirm the ignitor is working by placing your hand above the burn grate to feel for heat. Also, check that the ignitor is aligned with the hole in the burn grate and open to light the pellets. If it's not operating properly, contact Customer Service. The igniter may need to be replaced, so contact Customer Service for a replacement part.

If the fuse is blown, remove the hopper access panel and check the fuse for a broken or black wire; if damaged, the fuse needs replacing. If the control board is faulty, it needs to be replaced, so contact Customer Service.
