2. Requirements
z Workstations running Windows 7/8/10/11, macOS 10.12 or later, Linux Kernel
2.6.18 or later, or other modern operating systems are compatible with TCP/IP
protocols.
z WorkstationsareinstalledwithEthernetNIC(NetworkInterfaceCard)
z Serial Port Connection(Terminal)
 TheaboveWorkstationscomewithCOMPort(DB9)orUSB-to-RS232
converter.
 The above Workstations have been installed with terminal emulator,suchas
HyperTerminalincludedinWindowsXP/2003puttyorteraterm.
 Serialcable--oneendisattachedtotheRS232serialport,whiletheother
end to the console port of the Managed PoE Switch.
z Ethernet Port Connection
 Networkcables--Usestandardnetwork(UTP)cableswithRJ45connectors.
 TheabovePCisinstalledwithWebbrowserandJAVAruntimeenvironment
plug-in.
It is recommended to use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla
Firefox to access the Managed PoE Switch. If the Web interface of the
ManagedPoESwitchis not accessible, please turn off the anti-virussoft-
ware or firewall and then try it again.
