PDs (powered devices) are PoE-enabled terminals,
such as IP phones, network cameras, wireless access
points, etc., powered by PSE.
PSE (power sourcing equipment) is a device (switch,
or hub for instance) that provides power in a PoE setup.
The allowed maximum continuous output power per
device is 15.4W for the IEEE 802.3af standard, and 30W
for the IEEE 802.3at standard.
