Unpack and Assemble
Note: The Pad Module (No. 9) is a consumable part,
you need to replace it after 20000 scans.
1. Remove all packing materials.
2. Open cover and remove all packing material.
Close the cover until you hear it click into place.
3. Pull up paper chute extension and install paper
stacker.
Connect and Install Software
1. Connect scanner to computer.
2. Insert Setup/Application disk into DVD-ROM
driver.
Note: If your computer does not have
a DVD-ROM please download driver
from Plustek website.

3. Follow on-screen instructions to install all
software.
4. Check if scanner monitor displays No.1 or check
system tray for successful installation.

Click Windows Start button to launch DocAction.
For Mac Os:
Double click MacAction icon in dock.

Place the fanned documents into the scanner feed path, ensuring the correct feed direction.

Launch Scanning Software

Launch DocAction for Windows OS or MacAction for Mac OS to initiate scanning.

Clean the Scanner

Clean Feed Roller

Clean the feed roller mechanism of the scanner.

Clean Pad Module

Clean the pad module of the scanner.

Clean ADF Glass

Clean the glass surface within the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).

Troubleshooting and Support

Scanning Single-Sided Documents

Select 'Front Side' or 'Rear Side' in the dropdown list to scan single-sided documents.

Selecting Document Type

Choose 'Photo', 'Text', or 'Photo & Text' for optimal scanning results based on document content.

Correcting Strange Colors

Reset scan settings to default in DocAction/MacAction and recalibrate the scanner if needed.

Removing Blank Pages

Check the 'Remove Blank Pages' option in the scanning software settings.

Clearing Paper Jams

Open the ADF cover and gently pull jammed documents out of the ADF.

Waking Scanner from Standby

Press any scanner button on the panel to wake the scanner from standby mode.

Finding the ISIS Driver

The ISIS driver is on the installation disc or available on the Plustek support webpage.
