Why does the primary heater temperature drop excessively while spraying with PMC PH-25?
    • R
      Richard BakerAug 4, 2025
If the primary heater temperature drops excessively while spraying with PMC Industrial Equipment, it could be due to several reasons. The chemical in the containers might be too cold, or you might be exceeding the flow rate specification of the machine. Another potential cause is that one or more of the fire rods in the heater have malfunctioned. To check this, remove the heater cover and disconnect the wires to measure the resistance across each rod.

      Kim BrownAug 19, 2025
If the primary heater isn't heating and the controller displays a flashing error message SbEr on your PMC Industrial Equipment, check position 9 and 10 on the heater controller for loose wires. Also, remove the heater cover and ensure the thermocouple wires are securely connected to the harness going to the controller.

How to fix excessive temperature on the primary heater controller of PMC Industrial Equipment?
    • L
      Lisa HensleyAug 27, 2025
If the primary heater controller shows excessive temperature and the circuit has turned off on your PMC Industrial Equipment, set the controller set point at least 20°F (7°C) lower than the temperature shown on the controller.

How to troubleshoot a primary heater that does not heat on PMC PH-25 Industrial Equipment?
    • R
      Robert AndersonNov 10, 2025
If the primary heater isn't heating and the controller displays ambient temperature on your PMC Industrial Equipment, start by checking if the light on the on/off switch is lit. If not, replace the switch. Also, check the heater breaker in the main console and reset it. If it trips again, use an Amp Clamp to check the amperage. If it doesn't exceed the breaker's rating, replace the breaker. If it exceeds the rating, one or more fire rods are likely shorted. Next, open the console and find the solid state relays for the heaters. With the heater on, check if the LED light is lit on the relay. Use a DC volt meter to check the voltage across positions A1 and A2 on the solid state relay (smaller wires); it should read 4-6 volts DC. Also, check the AC voltage across L1 and L2 (heavy wires), whic...
