  If your Polaris Utility Vehicle engine runs irregularly, stalls, or misfires, begin by inspecting, cleaning, and replacing the spark arrester if it's plugged, broken, or damaged. Check the spark plugs for fouling or defects, and inspect, clean, and/or replace them as needed. Ensure the spark plug gap and heat range are correct. Check all ignition connections and tighten any loose connections. Replace the fuel if water is present or if the fuel is incorrect or low octane. Recharge the battery to 12.8 VDC if the voltage is low. Inspect and replace any kinked or plugged fuel tank vent line or filter, and inspect idle air control lines, rotating them to remove any kinks. Inspect and replace a clogged air filter. If the fuel is low or contaminated, add or change fuel, and clean the fuel system.
