Disassembly/Inspection - Polaris Engines
16.Remove fuel injectors (FFI™ model only). Mark
injectors so they can be re-installed on their
respective cylinders.
17. Remove ignition coils (FFI™ model only). Mark coils
so they can be re-installed on their respective
cylinders.
18 . Remove cylinder heads (cylinder head covers) and
inspect sealing surface. Clean and inspect groove in
cylinder for damage or debris. Replace all O-rings
upon reassembly. Mark cylinder heads so they can
be re-installed on their respective cylinders.
19 .Check each cylinder head for warping as shown.
Replace cylinder head if warp exceeds service limit.
