Engine Oil Change
Cleaning the Long Oil Screen
5. Insert the tool through the opening and into the bore of the opposite engine casing wall.
Push the oil screen into the casing as far as possible. Remove the tool.
6. Reinstall the plug. Torque to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).
CAUTION
An improperly installed oil screen will
function poorly and result in increased
engine wear. Install the screen securely at
the angle shown in the illustration.
