Operation
Driving Procedure
1. Sit upright with both feet on the footpegs and
both hands on the handlebars.
2. Start the engine and allow it to warm up.
3. Shift the transmission into gear. See page 64.
4. Check your surroundings and determine your
path of travel.
5. Release the parking brake.
6. Slowly depress the throttle with your right
thumb while slowly releasing the clutch lever to
begin driving.
7. Drive slowly. Practice maneuvering and using
the throttle, clutch and brakes on level surfaces.
