REAR DIFFERENTIAL
DISASSEMBLY
(6X6)
1. Drain and properly dispose of used oil.
2. Remove the differential housing cover bolts and the
gearcase housing cover.
3. Remove the shim and O--ring from the differential
cover.

4. Remove the output shaft and ring gear from the
differential. Inspect the ring gear for abnormal
wear, broken, or chipped teeth. Inspect the
bearings for wear. Spin the bearings by hand, the
bearings should roll smoothly. Replace the
bearings if needed.

5. Remove the wave spring from the differential
assembly.
