    • M
      Michael MunozJul 30, 2025
If your Polaris Offroad Vehicle engine turns over but doesn't start, consider these possibilities: * The vehicle is out of fuel, so refuel it. * Water is present in the fuel. Drain the fuel system and refuel. * Old or non-recommended fuel is being used. Replace it with fresh, recommended fuel. * The spark plugs are fouled or defective. Inspect the plugs and replace if necessary. * There's no spark to the spark plug. Inspect the plugs and replace if necessary. * The battery voltage is low. Why is my Polaris Offroad Vehicle drive belt wearing or burning?
    • B
      Brian CobbAug 3, 2025
Drive belt wear or burn in your Polaris Offroad Vehicle can occur due to several reasons. You might be driving onto a pickup or tall trailer in high range, starting out going up a steep incline, or driving at low RPM or ground speed. Insufficient warm-up at low ambient temperatures, slow clutch engagement, towing/pushing at low RPM/low ground speed, utility use/plowing, getting stuck in mud or snow, or climbing over large objects from a stopped position can also contribute to this issue. Other causes include belt slippage from water or snow ingestion into the PVT system, clutch malfunction, poor engine performance, failure to warm up the belt, using the wrong or missing belt, or improper break-in.

    • C
      cooperjermaineAug 8, 2025
If your Polaris Offroad Vehicle engine runs irregularly, stalls, or misfires, the issue could stem from several factors. Begin by inspecting, cleaning, and/or replacing fouled or defective spark plugs. Also, check for loose ignition connections and tighten them. Other potential causes include water present in the fuel (replace with new fuel), low battery voltage (recharge to 12.8 VDC), a kinked or plugged fuel tank vent line (inspect and replace), incorrect fuel (replace with recommended fuel), or a clogged air filter (inspect and clean or replace). Low or contaminated fuel may also be to blame, so consider adding or changing the fuel and cleaning the fuel system. Also low octane fuel or fuel is very high octane can cause this issue, so replace with recommended fuel or lower octane fuel.
