6. Connect the AWD wire harness.
7. Refer to Front Half Shaft Installation, page 7.11 and
install both front drive shafts into the gearcase.
8. Add the proper lubricant to the front gearcase. Refer
to Chapter 2 for fluid fill and change information.
FLUID CAPACITY
Recommended Front Gearcase Fluid:
Polaris Demand Drive
(PN 2877922) (Quart)
900 Capacity:≈ 7.5 oz. (222 mL)
S 1000 / 4 900 Capacity:≈ 8.5 oz. (250 mL)
(fill on a level surface to bottom of threads on the fill
hole)
