All Wheel Drive (AWD) System
AWD
When the AWD switch is on,
the Quadricycle is in four-
wheel drive and the differential
is locked, providing maximum
traction. The demand drive
unit automatically engages
when the rear wheels lose trac-
tion. When the rear wheels
regain traction, the demand drive unit automatically disengages.
2X4
When the 2X4 switch is on,
the Quadricycle is in two-
wheel drive at all times and
the differential is locked.
TURF
When the TURF switch is on,
the differential is open, allow-
ing the inside wheel to rotate
independently from the out-
side wheel during turns. Oper-
ate this vehicle in TURF mode
only to protect smooth, level surfaces from tire damage. Otherwise,
switch out of TURF mode.
DO NOT operate in TURF mode when climbing or descending hills, when
sidehilling, or when operating on uneven, loose, or slippery terrain conditions
such as sand, gravel, ice, snow, obstacles, and water crossings. Switch the All-
Wheel Drive (AWD) system out of TURF mode whenever it is not required.
