Turning the Camera On and Off

Turn the camera on (
a
). You hear a
click, the LCD (

) turns on, and the
green power/status indicator (

is lit.
If the green power/status indicator
is not lit, check that the batteries are
properly loaded and fully charged.

To turn the camera off, press and
hold the power button (

) until the
green power/status indicator (

) turns off.
Note:
To conserve battery power, the camera beeps and shuts off after 90
seconds of inactivity. To turn it on, press the power button (
a
). The LCD
(

) turns on and the power/status indicator (

) is lit. To take a photo,
look through the viewfinder (

) and press the shutter button (
