Inserting Batteries
Your kit includes four AAA batteries.

Turn the camera off.

Open the battery door by sliding the
cover out to the side as far as it will
go and lifting it.

Insert the batteries. Ensure that the
battery terminals (
+
and
-
) are
properly positioned (as shown).

Close the battery door securely. Slide
it out to the side as far as it will go,
press it against the camera base, and
slide it back into the base to lock it closed. If you feel resistance, do not force
the door closed.
Note:
Replace the batteries when the low-battery
indicator (
a
) turns on, the LCD shows
bL
, or
the LCD does not turn on.
Do not mix old and new batteries, batteries of
different types, or batteries from different
manufacturers. High-capacity super-alkaline
batteries provide longer battery life for digital
cameras.
