operating this unit, please review this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
This Operation Manual describes design, configuration and principle of operation of the X-
Ray and Gamma Personal Dosimeters (hereinafter – dosimeter, instrument) РМ1610В and
РМ1610В-01. The Operation Manual includes description and technical specifications of the dosim-
eter, verification technique instructions, as well as some other information necessary for the proper
operation of the instrument and a full realization of its possibilities.
Dosimeter is manufactured in two versions:
- “X-Ray and Gamma Personal Dosimeter РМ1610В”;
- “X-Ray and Gamma Personal Dosimeter РМ1610В-01”.
These instruments differ from the PM1610 due to presence of the data channel in
accordance with the ISO15693 standard.
During manufacturing of the instrument some changes may be introduced in its electrical
circuit and construction that do not influence the specifications and metrological parameters and,
therefore, may be not specified in this manual.
