SAFETY FEATURES OF THE SYSTEM
• The Ultrasound Applicator is designed to operate with your current geneo+U system. All safety
features incorporated in the system serve as the Ultrasound Applicator safety features.
•
The Ultrasound Applicator must be properly connected to the system and locked prior to activation.
• To start the treatment, the Applicator Switch must be pressed by the operator. Ultrasound is
emitted only after pressing the switch.
• The system automatically identies the Applicator connection and distinguishes between
the Ultrasound Applicator and the other Applicators. The system allows you to operate only the
connected Applicator and will use only its operational procedure.
• An independent electronic circuit stops the operation of the system in case of a software error.
• Patient safety is subject to a well-trained sta. Patient education is also important, so information
about the nature the treatment and its expectations should be provided prior to commencement
of the treatment.
